World Vision Ethiopia (WVE) is an International Humanitarian Christian Organization whose objective is to provide holistic and integrated development and emergency response programs in the country.
World Vision’s work in Ethiopia contributes to the well-being of vulnerable children in partnership with Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs), civil society, and the government. Initiatives include education, food security, health, water, sanitation, and hygiene as well as sponsorship management. All programs are implemented with the goal of addressing the strategic and basic needs of children while supporting and building the capacity of families and communities.
World Vision Ethiopia (WVE), South East Program Hub wants to pre-qualify potential companies in the following categories for a current fiscal year who are interested in working with WVE in different Areas under the Hub office, in World Vision Ethiopia’s Program Areas by furnishing all the necessary labor, materials and equipment.
Contractors in the category of Water Works Contractor, Class 6 and above, registered, licensed, renewed, and valid for the year 2017 EC (2024/2025 GC) for the Construction of water supply projects (like different sizes of pipeline installation, reservoirs construction, water points construction…etc.) at different location of the Country, under program Hub.
Contractors in the category of Building Infrastructure Contractors (BC/GC) Class 7 and above, registered, licensed, renewed, and valid for the year 2017 EC (2024/2025 GC) for the Construction of buildings or related structures (like schools, health institutions, building rehabilitations….etc.) at different location of the Country, under the program Hub.
Interested eligible contractors can register at World Vision South East Program Hub at the address shown below by delivering their credential renewed license and upon submitting a valid email address with Official Letter of the company during working hours (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM), from December 30-31, 2024.
The prequalification bidding document (TOR) will be distributed to the bidders through an e-mail address given to the Organization from January 1-2, 2025.
The qualification document being completed with requested details and prepared in wax sealed envelope stamped and signed, duly marking the envelope as “ORIGINAL (No need of Copy)”, must be delivered to the Supply Chain Unit in the bid box prepared for this purpose on January 13, 2025, on or before 3:30 PM (9:30 Local time).

Only applicants who present the most responsive document to the details of the qualification document shall be invited to financial bids.
NB: Please note that one company can only be prequalified at one of WVE Hub’s (branch) offices or at the Head Office of WVE. WVE has the right to reject if the company is pre-qualified in more than one office.
