MERS Consulting & Construction seeks to hire applicants for the position of;
- Architect.
Basic Requirements:
- Four years experience
- Capable of designing indoor and outdoor spaces
- Must be capable of adhering to budgets and timelines.
- Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills.
- Excellent technical drawing skills.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Must have excellent knowledge of Autocad, Revit, Lumion, and SketchUp. Knowledge of additional software such as Grasshopper, Rhino, ArchiCAD, and 3d Max is preferred.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards of Ethiopia.
Duties and responsibilities…
- Create designs for new construction projects, alterations and redevelopments
- Liaise with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects
- Writing and presenting reports, proposals, and contracts
- Viewing building sites, proposed locations, and client meetings.
- Full-time Structural Engineer.
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, MSc in structure is an additional advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy on ETABS, SAP, Revate Structure
- Min of 2 building structural designs with more than 10 stories computed and approved
- Pst licensed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Diagrammatic skills
- Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills.
- The ability to liaise well with professionals from other disciplines.
Duties and responsibilities…
- Structural analysis of buildings and structures that are safe and capable of withstanding the elements to which they will be exposed and detailing.
- Improve the structure integrity of existing buildings and Site supervision.
- Receptionist.

- Fluent in English and Amharic
- Good communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Must be able to multi-task
Duties and responsibilities…
- Meeting and greeting customers
- Answering calls and Book meetings
- Run errands while maintaining professional composure throughout interactions with customers or potential clients.
